All over the internet, leading psychologists and health professionals are, in this day and age, giving out dated procedures for treating general anxiety disorders and panic attacks:

You could do all kinds of studying, going through sentence after sentence of articles or blog posts in addition to tips in periodicals, online, medical publications, ebooks, you name it, trying to find some kind of understanding on panic disorders and STILL learn diddly squat.
Well over 40 million US citizens in the United States of America struggle with some type of panic disorder. It’s actually the MOST PREVALENT psychological illness suffered on the GLOBE.
Of those 40+ million sufferers in the USA, it‘s predicted that no more than 4 million will get treatment, and of those, only a regrettable 400,000 will receive adequate treatment solutions.
65% of North American adults take prescribed medicine daily, 43% take mood altering prescriptions consistently. Paxil and Zoloft, two of the most popular anti-anxiety medications, are ranked 7th and 8th in the top ten prescribed medications in the United States.
I assume these stats are similar or even worse in many other countries…
I have found and still find it outrageous that an illness as wide spread, far reaching and soul destroying as anxiety disorders are so mismanaged and understood.
Doctors all over prescribe ineffective pill after ineffective pill, yet the symptoms remain the same, and the anxiety disorder sufferer remains locked in fight with their demons.
How is anyone supposed to solve their anxiety condition if they are continuously offered these techniques and methods that only teach people to cope with anxiety?
Just coping is not adequate… You are worthy of the BEST.
Real solutions are needed. If you fracture your arm, the doctor does not give you an aspirin and say “that’ll ease the pain a little” and leave it with that.
OF COURSE NOT!
They take you in for surgery, put the broken bones together and then put your broken bones in a cast – no coping here, just CURING. Why’s this not done for panic attacks and anxiety attacks?!?
IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE.
There’s better news here though: There is help out there.
